Text Box: Dear Residents of White Castle Lawn Estate.

Welcome to your official web page. This page was solely set up to benefit you as residents to kept in touch, with your committee and neighbours, on activities and information related to your estate. From the comfort of your own home you now can access information and send suggestion that you feel would benefit our entire neighbourhood, while helping your committee maintain and improve our estate.

Information will be posted on a regular basis, along with minutes of meetings and important issues in the greater community that may affect you.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Chairperson: Frank Dobbyn.

Some proposed changes in the management of the traffic on the main streets of Athy are available on  http://kildare.ie/CountyCouncil/Transportation/RoadsDesign/AthyTrafficManagementPlan-PartVIII/  and well worth a look.  These are the deliberation of planners who examined our traffic difficulties and came up with these suggestions.  Before anything can be implemented there is a process to be followed and all submissions are welcomed.  These plans will be on public display shortly and all are welcome to bring their opinions on board.

ATTENTION ALL WHITECASTLE LAWNS RESIDENTS

Dear Residents

CLEAN UP OF ESTATE

We are organising a clean up of the estate (weather permitting). The agreed date and time is as follows:

DATE & TIME:     Saturday 27th February at 11am.

MEETING PLACE:        The “Rock” on the main Green.

We would appreciate it if all residents and children participate in the clean up as this will benefit every household.

INSTALLATION OF GAS – connecting domestic “non-gas” estates

A few residents have expressed an interest in installing gas into their homes. There is information attached from An Bord Gais in relation to what is a Domestic Non Gas Estate and how it can be connected, and how connection charges are calculated. Work to connect non-gas estates will only commence when the initial take-up requirement is reached i.e. 20% of homeowners on an estate. If you are interested in installing gas in your home, please fill in the slip below and return to Trina O’Rourke. If there is enough interest from the residents, a rep from An Bord Gais will meet with us to discuss next steps.

Yours sincerely
