Notice: Information of Interest on Bord Gáis.

Dear Residents.

A number of resident have made inquires with regards to converting to Gas.

One main condition before Bord Gáis will connect to our estate, is that they require a minimum of 25% of houses in estate to sign up. So in next few weeks a committee member will hand out leaflets on Bord Gáis. If you are then interested you can contact committee secretary.

Thank you.

Chair,

Frank Dobbyn.

Text Box: Dear Residents.

By now I am sure you are aware of the proposed mixed-use development between Cois na Habhainn / Batchelors and J.P Quinn & Son Ltd. The committee have received a copy of the proposed plans and have reviewed them at length at their recent committee meeting.  Where it was decided to send a letter of " Observation " to the planning department of Kildare County Council, which will be attached to the planning application. This letter while not a full objection, outlines our concerns with regards to our estate. While we welcome this development we felt the it was important to raise our concerns. We have also issued a copy of this letter to some Town and County Councillors, looking for their support to our letter of observation, each in turn have been asked to forward a letter of support to Kildare County Council.

The committee will keep you up to date with regards to this issue.

Chair,

Frank Dobbyn.
