Issues highlighted at our committee meeting on Tuesday 1st Dec 2009, forwarded to Kildare county council.

 

Issues are:

 

1,Contact ESB to repair streetlights, number 12 and 14, check other estate lights.

 

2, Water leak. Will need to be looked at and repaired.

 

3, We need a couple of loads of topsoil for top area of green area which we have cleaned out and for it to be levelled out, we intend too sow grass and plant some trees.Could council do this as estate is in their care?

 

4, Would council be willing to sweep road surface at least twice a year, they have a road sweeper and once again estate is in their care.

 

5, This issue is a major point of concern. We are informed by council that houses from number 33 upwards, have not been taken over by council  (taken charge of by council), if this is the case what can be done to sort this issue out.

 

6, Repair tarmac at edge of one footpath.

 

7. Some mature trees in estate have been tagged or labelled in the pass few weeks (small disc with number printed on it) concern is why and for what reason?

 

8, While all concerned are delighted with new fence, one small section of fence, which is part of original fence, was not replaced at right hand side, could we get this done? It was felt this would finish off this issue. Committee intend on painting fence at some stage.
